The north-coast answer: a big beachfront resort in Nyali for travellers whose Wasini day departs from Mombasa. From this side of the city the road to Shimoni runs about 90 km via the Likoni crossing, so pickups start earlier than from Diani — the trade-off for staying on the north coast beaches. A pool, a restaurant and garden- and sea-view rooms make it an easy family base for the days that are not spent at sea.
