Choose the wing before comparing rates
Baobab, Maridadi and Kole Kole are the resort’s three wings. Ask which wing and room category the quoted rate covers. If you need nearby rooms, step-free access or a particular bed arrangement, obtain confirmation for that exact booking; a general resort description cannot confirm these details.
Plan a Wasini or Kisite day from the hotel
The resort says its excursions are operated by independent third parties. When comparing a boat trip, send the operator the full hotel name and ask for the pickup meeting point, departure time and expected return window. Check whether the price includes the transfer to the departure port, marine park entry and lunch. Do not assume that every Diani pickup offer covers your booking.
Match your meal plan to your itinerary
Check the restaurants and drinks included in your chosen rate, particularly any à la carte supplements. For an early excursion, ask whether breakfast or a packed meal can be arranged. Compare this with the lunch already included in the boat trip before buying extras. If most days will be spent away on safari, consider whether you will use enough of the resort stay to justify your choice.
Check the current status of the renovation
The official website still displays a notice for work at Maridadi and Kole Kole scheduled for 15 April–15 August 2026. The end date alone does not confirm that every facility has reopened. Before paying, ask which areas will operate during your stay and whether your assigned room is affected.
